CONTRIBUTIONS TO KNOWLEDGE

Paper (i) above contributed more knowledge to fishes’ growth patterns in relation to length and weight. Paper (ii) added knowledge to the mechanism of how sympatric fish species cohabit as well as their foraging behaviour. Paper (iii) contributed to knowledge on the aspect of water parameters of an artificial lake formed from quarry site and its suitability for aquaculture. Paper (iv) shed more light on the importance of solar input on productivity in aquatic environments and how it is dependent on season and depth of water column.
